The weird struggles at home continue for FC Dallas in 2025. On Saturday night, Dallas saw a second half lead slip away as they fell 3-2 to San Diego FC.

Petar Musa scored his seventh of the season, while Sebastian Lletget found his first goal of the season in the club's sixth home loss of the season.

The visitors got on the board first in the 26th minute. Patrickson Delgado fouled Onni Valakari in the penalty box directly in front of the center official. Andres Dryer stepped up to the penalty spot and buried it past Maarten Paes.

Dallas nearly tied it up in the 34th minute on a chip from Lucho Acosta. Following the celebration, the center official went to video review and determined that Acosta received the ball from an offside position before taking the shot.

In the 44th minute, Dallas finally tied the game up on Musa's seventh goal of the season. Musa received the ball at the top of the penalty area, made a touch around one defender before firing a shot into the right side of the goal past CJ dos Santos.

After having a goal called off in the 54th minute, FC Dallas took the lead two minutes later on Lletget's first goal of the season. Acosta got the play going as he pushed the ball wide to Shaq Moore who immediately played the ball back across the goal where Lletget was able to tap it into the back of the net.

San Diego tied the game up in the 77th minute on a tap in from Chucky Lozano. The visitors quickly played the ball up the field as they got the ball wide to Milan Iloski, who quickly played a ball into the center of the penalty box where Lozano beat his defender to the ball before tapping it in past Paes.

Dallas had a couple of chances late in the match to regain the lead including two in the stoppage time. Tsiki Ntsabeleng dribbled into the penalty box but was denied by dos Santos when he tried to shoot the ball. Musa had a free header at the back post that went over the bar.

San Diego found the lead seven minutes into stoppage time on a wide open shot in the penalty box for Tomas Angel.
