FC Dallas is getting set to take on LAFC tonight in their first road game since last month.
The lineups are in for each side, so let’s dive in to them along with some questions.
Quick thoughts
Yeah, there are some changes to discuss from last week. The biggest being Lucho Acosta starting on the bench in place of Pedrinho.
Logan Farrington gets another start up top next to Petar Musa.
The midfield sees Ramiro return the mix with Patrickson Delgado and Sebastian Ibeagha.
Defensively, we get the same group we’ve seen recently with Marco Farfan, Shaq Moore, Sebastien Ibeagha and Lalas Abubakar. Maarten Paes is in goal once again.
Who is on the bench?
Well, Acosta is one of the key players on the bench. Also, Osaze Urhoghide is there for the first time since late May, which is a positive sign.
The rest of the bench includes Michael Collodi, Tsiki Ntsabeleng, Tarik Scott, Alvaro Augusto, Anthony Ramirez, and Bernard Kamungo.
Who should come off the bench?
I really hope we get both Acosta and Urhoghide in this one. Outside of those two, Ntsabeleng and Kamungo sound like likely subs.
Big question for tonight: Can FCD find their first win at LAFC?
FC Dallas hasn’t had a positive result against LAFC in California since back in 2018 when the two sides played to a draw in their first meeting against one another. Given how FC Dallas has played on the road this season and LAFC coming in on short rest, this feels like as good of a chance to get a result as ever for Quill’s club.
