FC Dallas extended its unbeaten run to eight games on Saturday afternoon after coming from behind to down the LA Galaxy 2-1.
Petar Musa scored his club-leading 18th goal, while Patrickson Delgado added his first goal of the season in the win.
LA grabbed the league four minutes into the match off a shot from Diego Fagundez. Harbor Miller found Fagundez outside the penalty area. The veteran midfielder took a couple of dribbles to get past a Dallas defender before hitting a shot that beat Michael Collodi at the far post.
FC Dallas tied it up in the 35th minute on Musa's 18th goal of the season. After a bit of a scrum in front of the Galaxy goal, Chris Cappis was able to get a touch on the ball to where Musa was free to hit it into the back of the net.
Two minutes into first half stoppage time, Delgado scored his first goal of the season. Bernard Kamungo picked off the ball in the midfield and found Deglado open 25 yards away from goal. Delgado opted to take a long-range shot on goal that found its way into the top corner of the goal.
The second half saw the Galaxy pour on some pressure as they looked for an equalizer, but the Dallas defense was able to limit the Galaxy to two shots on target.
