FC Dallas announced today the termination of the loan for defender Herbert Endeley from Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.
Endeley sustained a torn ACL in his right knee while playing on loan with the Switchbacks. Endeley appeared in seven matches for the Switchbacks during the 2025 season, totaling 491 minutes.
He made his FC Dallas senior team debut on May 28, 2023, entering as a substitute in the 84th minute against San Jose. Since then, he has made 11 appearances, including three starts, logging 320 total minutes.
Endeley was drafted by FC Dallas in the first round of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft (24th overall pick).

Quick BDS Take
Loans to other clubs always carry this kind of risk for any team. Endeley was sent to Colorado to get minutes since the team was fairly flush at right back on the depth charts.
What is wild now is all three backups to Shaq Moore are out injured for the season. Geovane Jesus was placed on the SEI list earlier this year. Rookie Enzo Newman, who beat out Endeley in preseason play, saw his season end early recently. Now. Endeley joins that group.
FC Dallas has managed to get by with guys like Ramiro or Lalas Abubakar filling in at right back this year for short spells, but this has to be an area the club opts to improve in the summer window. At least getting some depth there at the very least.
