It feels like the summer is flying by as the days remain super hot here in North Texas. As the pages on the calendar turn over, some of you are probably experiencing a family member or two being back in school. I don’t personally have any kids but I do have nieces and nephews back in school, with one of them going off to college as I type this up.
With that being said, it is time for an annual look at some FC Dallas academy players who have opted to head back to school for the fall and play with their universities. There are a lot of former academy players across the country, honestly too many to name.
The college season mostly kicks off tomorrow around the country. So today, I’m going to dive into the few players that I am keeping a close watch on this fall as I think any number of these guys could be perfect candidates down the road for either full Homegrown deal with FC Dallas or even one of the hybrid deals that we see with North Texas SC.
