As of last weekend, we officially hit the midway point for the 2025 season. FC Dallas has 17 games left on the season and a few points to gain in order to be back in a playoff position.

Like we did a season ago, let’s dive into some over arching stats on the season to see where things stand halfway through the year.

Goals - 22 (1.29 per game)

While the goal tally is a bit lower than I think we all may have expected this season, we are getting production out of most of our key players. Lucho Acosta and Petar Musa lead the way right now with five goals each. Anderson Julio has four goals to his name and Pedrinho has two. There are six players with a single goal.

xG - 23.2

Eight clubs are worse than FC Dallas in this area, which is a drastic improvement from this point a season ago. Still, a long way to go and climb back up the charts.

When we factor in non-penalty xG, it is a tad lower at 20.9.

For reference, the league leader is San Jose with 36.7.

xG per 90 minutes - 1.36

On the per-90 side, FC Dallas sits in the middle of the league.

For reference, the league leader is San Jose with 2.04.

Opponent xG - 23.3

FC Dallas is in the top half of the league here. Not bad.

Opponent xG per 90 minutes - 1.37

Again, very above average. They're not Vancouver good (0.98) but they're no where near Sporting or LA bad (1.88).
