As the offseason continues to pick up some steam, we continue on with our first look at the roster construction going into 2026. We touched on the defensive group first, and today we're back with the midfield and forwards.

Again, I should point out that this isn’t a heavy look at the money that these players earn. It is a glimpse of who has options on their existing contracts going into this offseason later this year and who is locked in for the long haul.

Dallas wanted to rebuild the defensive group in 2025, but was it enough?

So, let’s dive into today’s group.

Built for 2026 and beyond*

Yeah, there is an asterisk there, primarily because some of the contracts are so long. Deedson is the prime one that you see the length of his contract and have to wonder if he’ll truly be here in a Dallas uniform through 2030.

But that isn’t the full point here.

Going into next season, we’ll still see regular starters like Logan Farrington, Petar Musa, Chris Cappis, Patrickson Delgado, and Bernard Kamungo. Younger guys like Diego Garcia and Sam Sarver will also be back.

From there, the club does have some decisions to make, more so than the defensive group. I’ll discuss those option pick ups in a moment, but the club does have some serious decisions to make in this area.
