Highlight
Picking out just one goal from 18 isn’t the easiest thing to do, but I do think this one was pretty damn good for the moment.
This goal felt like a big turning point on the year. I know FC Dallas manager Eric Quill talks about the San Jose game being that, but this spot in St. Louis was it for me. The team was fighting as one and managed a draw on the road thanks to this cracker of a goal.
And if you want two, it is hard not to go with what fans voted as the top goal this year:
What to expect in 2026?
If Dallas is able to hold on to Musa (if he makes the Croatian World Cup roster, it will be tough to keep him), we can only help he can finally crack that 18-goal milestone.
Final thoughts
We had high hopes for Musa in 2025 when the club signed Lucho Acosta. Everyone from around the league thought they could have been the best attacking duo in the league outside of Miami. Instead, as we know Acosta was a dud in Dallas.
Musa on the other hand, he was still stellar on his own. He helped guide the team back to the playoffs and also helped nurture young players like Logan Farrington and Sam Sarver.
This will be a big year coming up for Musa as he hopes to make the World Cup roster for Croatia. To get to that point in the summer, he’ll need to be scoring a lot of goals early on in the season. I think we all know he can do it, but how he responds to potentially not making that roster will also be a big deal. It could make or break the season either way.
