Saturday’s game for FC Dallas against the Houston Dynamo will definitely be all of that, and then some, as both sides look to take a step towards claiming the Copa Tejas crown and retaining El Capitan for another season. A road team has not won in this series since the 2017 season, and Houston is looking for their first win at Toyota Stadium since 2011 (back when it was called Pizza Hut Park).
FC Dallas head coach Nico Estevez spoke to the media on Friday afternoon to preview Saturday’s game, and one common theme emerged in the discussion about the Dynamo and how FC Dallas will need to match the intensity and emotions on the field.
