# FC Dallas vs Colorado Rapids: Preview, game notes, lineup predictions and how to watch

FC Dallas continues its early-season road trip this weekend as they take on the Colorado Rapids.

Eric Quill’s club looks for its first back-to-back road win since 2018, while the Rapids are looking to recover from their early exit on Tuesday night in the Concacaf Champions Cup.

### FC Dallas Notes:

**Key player for FC Dallas: Lucho Acosta -** The Dallas DP didn’t get involved as much as fans would have liked in his first match last week, but another week of training should help improve his connections with his new teammates.

**Last season against Colorado**: FC Dallas struggled against the Rapids in 2024, losing away on a snowy night in April 2-1, before dropping a home match with them in late August 3-2\. 

**All-time against Colorado**: FC Dallas has a 35-30-19 all-time record against the Rapids. 

**Last win in Colorado**: FC Dallas hasn’t won in Colorado since October 18, 2014\. 

**Rare road winning streak on the line**: FC Dallas is looking to pick up a second straight win this weekend, which would be the first back-to-back win away from home since May 2018\. 

**Homegrown clock**: For the first time in a number of years, FC Dallas has yet to use a Homegrown player this season. 

**Potential Lineup:**

Eric Quill shouldn’t change up his lineup too much from what worked in Houston last week.
