While the 2020 season continues to be on hold, FC Dallas is currently waiting to see if their big summer signing Franco Jara would be able to arrive on time come July.
Jara signed a pre-contract agreement to join Dallas when his contract expires at the end of May. He was set to be added to their roster July 7 when the Secondary Transfer Window opened.
Today it appears that could be put to rest as the veteran forward has wished his Mexican team Pachuca goodbye in heartfelt letter to the fans there.
Asi se despide el goleador histórico del Club @FrancoJara1988 para comenzar su aventura con el FC Dallas.

Un emotivo mensaje de un jugador que nos dio muchas alegrías a los aficionados. pic.twitter.com/uoKBnAaj06
Jara, who turns 32 this summer, played for the likes of Benfica, Granada, Estudiantes and Olympiakos before joining Pachuca. Jara has been a consistent scorer in Liga MX, with 82 goals and 19 assists in 167 appearances. He has 15 goals in 26 matches so far this season.
After reading through his note to he fans, it makes me think we’re getting a pretty classy guy.
