Report: Panamanian U20s on trial with FC Dallas

FC Dallas still looking for talent to fill out its roster.

FC Dallas is on their way to Tucson, Arizona, where they look to finalize preseason preparations. Here's a reminder that while FCD is looking to figure out their starting rotation, and solidify their backup positions, they are looking to fill out the bottom of the roster. There are still several trialists with FCD. Although teams tend to keep a lid on who those players might be, it's still fun figuring it out ourselves.

Club Atletico Independiente (Panama 1st Division) has confirmed that 2 of their U20’s are on trial with FC Dallas:

While I can’t find any.........aahuuummm......record, on Kevin Record, it is clear that he is a member of the Independiente youths. Carlos Kirton on the other hand, is a member of the Independiente senior team. Kirton is just 19 years old, plays Defensive Midfielder for his team, and has also played in 14 matches for the Panama U20s.

With younger trialists such as these young men, there is the very real possibility that should they impress, they are more likely to be offered a contract with FCD’s USL League One side North Texas SC.

I’m kinda more interested to find out what other trialists FCD has in camp with them, than other aspects of preseason preparations.

What do you think? Intrigued by these players? Let us know!
