There's no denying that FC Dallas missed Carlos Gruezo following his departure to FC Augsburg in the German Bundesliga.
It now looks like the team is taking steps to replace what Gruezo brought to the table:
O Palmeiras está próximo de acertar a venda do volante Thiago Santos para o FC Dallas, dos Eua.

Rafael Del Manto, journalist for Midia Palmeirense, is reporting that FC Dallas is in advanced talks to sign veteran defensive midfielder Thiago Santos.
The 30-year old started 13 matches and came off the bench 10 times this Apertura (opening season) for 3rd place Palmeiras (Brazilian top flight). He has played in 146 matches for Palmeiras, including 22 matches in Copa Libertadores.
This is a rock solid addition for FC Dallas that could signal changes at a position that is considered quite deep for the team.
What do you think? Has FCD found their Gruezo replacement? Or is he just a depth piece to help the young guys like Edwin Carrillo and Brandon Servania develop more? Is FCD moving some midfielders? Let us know!
