Funny season is in full swing, and FC Dallas finds itself involved in the latest rumor. Reports out of Colombia have surfaced, linking Luis Fernando Diaz with a move to MLS:
Further reports have named FC Dallas as the MLS club interested in Luis Diaz.

“According to the information that was generated in the last few hours in Barranquilla territory, the attacker of the (Atletico Junior), Luis Fernando Díaz, could leave the “shark” set for next season and his future would be in MLS football.”
“Product of his great performances with the cast ‘Currambero’, Luis Diaz would have a proposal of American football, more exactly of FC Dallas, a team where the former Millonarios attacker, Harold Santiago Mosquera, plays.”
“The player’s businessman publicly confirmed that Diaz has offers from FC Dallas led by the strategist, also Colombian, Óscar Pareja.”
Luis Diaz is a 21-year old left winger, who plays for Atletico Junior of Colombia’s top division. The 5’11 Diaz, plays primarily as a left winger, but can also play on the right wing, and as a central attacking midfielder. Luis Diaz just recently joined Atletico Junior, from Division 2 side CF Barranquilla, in time for the start of the recently concluded Spring Season. Diaz saw action in 17 matches for Atletico Junior, starting 6 of those matches. Furthermore, nine of those matches were in Copa Libertadores action (3 starts).
Luis only scored one goal, and two assists in those 17 matches, but he is seen as a big time prospect. Luis also has experience playing in the Copa Sudamericana (four games, one start), and has a total of 59 professional matches played.
