Perhaps you've heard about this latest rumor already? In case you haven't, here's the deal.
ADN Radio Chile reported yesterday, that FC Dallas is interested in Yeferson Soteldo:
The report goes on to state FC Dallas has sent personnel to scout Yeferson, and they will be in attendance for Universidad de Chile's home match on Sunday against Deportes Iquique. Yeferson is currently on loan to Universidad de Chile from Chilean side Huachipato, and his loan expires at the end of this season.
The report also goes on to state that an offer from FCD is expected within days.
Soteldo would be a big time signing for FCD, and the type of signing that should excite everyone. Only 5 feet 3 inches tall, the 21-year old Yeferson made a name for himself by helping to lead the Venezuela U20s to the final of the 2017 U20 World Cup. So much so, that in October of 2017, Huachipato placed a $5 million asking price for him.

Despite his short stature, Yeferson has proven to be an electrifying player, who can beat anyone on the dribble. Yeferson is a left winger, who has starts everywhere in the attacking third. He has four goals and seven assists for U. De Chile, having started 26 out of 29 matches he played in, including five starts in the Copa Libertadores.

Yeferson won't come cheap, as it is said that U. De Chile has a buy clause of $2 million for 50% of his rights. Atlas (Liga MX) is also said to be interested in acquiring Yeferson.
What do you think? Is FCD getting ready to splurge on a talented young player, or is it nothing but smoke?
