If the rumor on keeper William Yarbrough wasn’t enough, there is also second keeper connected with FC Dallas floating out there today as well.
Argentine keeper Jorge Broun is also being rumored to have offers from FC Dallas.
Broun is a 31-year old keeper that has spent his entire career in Argentina. Most recently he has been on loan with Club Atletico Colon where he made 52 appearances between 2014-16. Broun is back with his parent club this year, Rosario Central, where he has done well earning 12 shutouts in 21 games.
FC Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo continues to hit the market hard for a third keeper. Aside from this morning’s report of Yarbrough, the team also has been in discussions with Mexican international Memo Ochoa, Nicolas Vikoni, and most recently Jose Fernando Cuadrado.
It sounds more and more like the first objective this summer is to get a keeper in house to help compete with Jesse Gonzalez and Chris Seitz.
