Following the news that Yohandry Orozco wouldn't be coming to FC Dallas, the club is now set to add another attacking midfielder to their preseason camp. The rumor is that Colombian midfielder Carlos Lizarazo will soon join the club in preseason training.
Carlos Lizarazo ex Deportivo Cali viajará en las próximas horas a territorio Estadounidense para ser evaluado por FC Dallas.— Giss Barona (@BaronaMulata) January 27, 2016
The tweet basically states that the club will be evaluating the former Deportivo Cali and Cruz Azul midfielder. Lizarazo is currently listed as a free agent, so if the club did want to sign him they could go through without having to wait on the transfer window to open up next month.
The 24-year old spent most of his career with Cali in Colombia before moving to Mexico last year. This isn't the first time he is linked with a MLS side though. Back at the end of 2014, he was linked with Seattle but that deal never came through.
From the looks of it, this could be a guy that could come in an back up Mauro Diaz or even be someone that could help off the wings.
