FC Dallas Injury Update: No Zimmerman, Jackson In Question

New, 4 comments

Dallas heads to Montreal with a few question marks.

USA TODAY Sports

The injury report is out for FC Dallas today as they are in Montreal preparing for tomorrow's match. One player listed on the report did not make the trip to Canada while another is a toss up.

We know changes are coming from Schellas Hyndman this weekend for FC Dallas as they are set to take on the Montreal Impact. One will be getting George John back in the line up. One other spot could be in the midfield, particularly on the wings.

Rookie defender Walker Zimmerman hasn't been practicing as of late due to a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the last few games. He did not make the trip to Montreal and will be unavailable for another week here. Thankfully for him, the club has a bye-week in league play next week as they are going to host EPL side Stoke City, it is possible that he could see minutes in that one if he gets back to practice next week.

The other player in doubt this week is midfielder Jackson. The Brazilian is still undergoing some concussion tests after last weekend's game with RSL. The utility man was subbed out against RSL due to some concussion like symptoms. He did not train with the club on Thursday morning or all week for that matter, leaving his status for Saturday's game in doubt.

One should expect more of Je-Vaughn Watson or Ramon Nunez to star the game on the wings for Dallas this weekend.
