I thought that Kaick's recent emergence of being one of the club's best players this season was going to be too late for the voters to see for their lists. Still, only having one player on the list after years of basically dominating the thing is another sign that the club has a long way to go to get back to its roots as a club that churns out quality young players. One other note, FC Dallas did technically have a second player on the list. Nashville SC's Matthew Corcoran came in on the list at the number 21 spot, just above Kaick. Corcoran spent time in the FC Dallas academy and with North Texas SC before signing a professional contract with USL-C club Birmingham Legion.
