The summer is here and soon with it will be this year’s Gold Cup tournament. On Friday, preliminary rosters were released and there could end up being a heavy FC Dallas look for the United States.

Five Homegrown players were named to Greg Berhalter’s squad, which could be up to 60 players. Defender Justin Che, forwards Jesus Ferreira and Ricardo Pepi, and midfielders Tanner Tessmann and Paxton Pomykal are on the squad.

Elsewhere, Bryan Acosta appears on the preliminary roster for Honduras.

Rosters will be trimmed to a final 23 on June 30 with the tournament’s qualification round kicking off July 2. The United States will begin their tournament run on July 11 in Kansas City as they play one of the qualifying winners. Honduras will begin its tournament run on July 13 in Houston.
