FC Dallas winger Szabolcs Schön has been named to Hungary’s 26-man roster by head coach Marco Rossi for the 2020 UEFA European Championship running June 11-July 11.
The Hungarian National Team will have two international friendly matches prior to the start of the tournament against Cyprus (June 4) and Ireland (June 8). Hungary has one of the tougher groups in EURO 2020. They will host Portugal on June 15 and France on June 19 at Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary for the first two group stage matches and faces Germany on June 23 at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany for the final group stage match.
Schön joined the club earlier this spring after a successful time with Hungarian first-division MTK Budapest, where he scored 16 goals and recorded 10 assists in 61 appearances across all competitions. He made his MLS debut in the 1-1 draw against Texas Derby rival Houston Dynamo FC on May 8, playing the final 24 minutes of the match.
