The June FIFA international window is approaching quickly and FC Dallas will be represented on that stage.

Defender Justin Che (United States), winger Freddy Vargas (Venezuela) and midfielder Bryan Acosta (Honduras) have been called up to represent their respective countries in the upcoming June FIFA International Break.

Acosta and Vargas will depart following the Colorado Rapids match on May 29, 2021.

The 17-year old Che earns his first call up to the U.S. Men’s National Team. He signed as the 30th Homegrown in club history on Oct. 2, 2020, and is currently on loan with FC Bayern Munich II, where he’s appeared in seven matches, after a successful two-week training stint with the German club in January 2021 as part of the clubs’ Elite Player Development partnership. He joins fellow FC Dallas academy alums Weston McKennie, Kellyn Acosta, Bryan Reynolds, and Reggie Cannon as the United States will play an international friendly against Switzerland on May 30 at 1 PM CT.

Vargas earns his first call up to La Vinotinto ahead of the CONMEBOL Copá America Argentina-Colombia 2021. Venezuela will play World Cup Qualifiers Group Stage matches against Bolivia on June 3 at 3 PM CT and Uruguay on June 8 at 5:30 PM CT.

Acosta has 44 appearances for Los Catrachos, last appearing in international friendlies against Belarus and Greece on March 24 and 28, respectively. Honduras will face the United States on June 3 in the first semifinals matchup of the Concacaf Nations League Finals at 6:30 PM CT.
