FC Dallas is back on the road today as they look for their first win away from home when they take on Minnesota United.
The Loons began the new 2021 season with four straight losses but earned its first win of the year on Wednesday with a 1-0 triumph over Vancouver Whitecaps.
FC Dallas notes:
Key player for FC Dallas - Jader Obrien - This could be a good weekend for both Obrien and Freddy Vargas to get behind the defense and show exactly why the club brought them on board.
Not so great in the north - Dallas has only played at MNUFC’s Allianz Field three times since it opened in 2019 but has been defeated in each attempt. In 2020, FCD won its first road game of the season on its fourth try.
Road woes - FC Dallas has won only three of its last 24 regular season away matches (D6 L15) dating back to May 2019. Dallas has managed just 17 goals in that time, failing to find the net in 14 of the 24 matches.
