FC Dallas returns to TXA-21 while debuting a new broadcast on a local Spanish channel.

MLS: FC Dallas at Sporting Kansas City Peter G. Aiken

FC Dallas has announced their local broadcasting partners for the 2021 season this week. In English, broadcast plans include regular season games scheduled to air on TXA 21, FCDTV Network stations in Amarillo (KCPN/My Amarillo TV) and Lubbock (KMYL/My Lubbock TV).

Earlier this week, the club announced a new Spanish-language TV partner, KMPX-29.

Five of FC Dallas’ games will be featured on national television, with three on Univision, one on FS1 and one on UniMás.

TXA 21 kicks off its coverage of FC Dallas’ 26th season at 7:00PM CT on Saturday, April 17, 2021 as FC Dallas hosts Michael Barrios, Kellyn Acosta and the Colorado Rapids in the season opener. Pregame coverage for that match begins at 6:30PM CT. TXA 21 has been the English TV home for FC Dallas matches since the 2015 season.

Mark Followill returns for his 10th season as the television play-by-play announcer for most TXA 21 and FCDTV broadcasts. Owen Newkirk will provide play-by-play in Followill’s absence. Longtime soccer journalist Steve Davis will join Followill and Newkirk in the broadcast booth.

On the Spanish side of things, the EstrellaTV Deportes team for the Spanish-language telecasts will be shared between several veteran sports newscasters, such as Francisco X. Rivera, Claudio “El Emperador” Suarez and Martin “El Pulpo” Zuñiga.

If you are wanting to stream games online this season, FC Dallas does have a limited option available as well. All locally broadcast matches will be streamed online at FCDallas.com/Stream. Streaming is only available to residents in the Dallas/Fort Worth viewing area and in FCDTV Network markets.
