The playoff chances for FC Dallas may be in the books, but there are still four games left on the 2021 season. Up first, is a trip back to California to battle the LA Galaxy.
LA is coming off a pair of wins that have helped keep them in the playoff race in the Western Conference.
FC Dallas notes:
Key player for FC Dallas - Ricardo Pepi - He missed Wednesday night’s loss to LAFC with a foot injury but he appears ready to go for this one. If FCD wants to play spoiler, they need Pepi to step up and find goals away from home for a change.
Downward trend - Not that we’re shocked by any of this right now. After falling 3-2 to LAFC, FC Dallas is now winless in its last eight games, which is tied for the longest active winless streak in MLS with FC Cincinnati. It is the longest winless streak for the club since a 10-game drought in 2017.
