Could MLS be heading for a lockout?

This week has pasted me by pretty quickly here thanks to a large work project that has kept me from doing things on this site. I promise we’ll be ramping up our content in the coming weeks as the new season comes near. Though that new season could be in danger.

MLS has issued a memo to its teams and league staff instructing them to prepare for a work stoppage. This is definitely not the kind of news you want to see. It is a shame we're getting close to something like this. I do find it crappy that the owners continue to beat the ‘we lost millions in 2020’ line when I think half of them saw their personal wealth increase in 2020. Not a good look if you ask me.
