The big news is Weston to Jeventus now being official, but the most interesting news of the week is the weird events surrounding Christian Cappis and Hobro IK.

Weston McKennie (AP - Juventus/Serie A): We have all been waiting to hear the official announcement, and it’s finally here:
✍️ OFFICIAL | @WMckennie is a Juventus player! ⚪⚫#WelcomeWeston #ForzaJuve
— JuventusFC (@juventusfcen) August 29, 2020
I have never followed Juventus but it certainly looks like I’ll be watching many of their matches now. Here’s some of the details on the deal
Weston McKennie has just landed in Turin to join Juventus. He’ll have medicals tomorrow morning - loan (€3m) with buy option (€18m). It’ll be an obligation to buy McKennie if he’s gonna play more than 60% of the 2020/2021 season matches with Juventus. ⚪️⚫️ #Juve #transfers

McKennie was actually in the starting line-up in a Juventus friendly against the Juventus U23:

Christian Cappis (AP - Hobro IK/Danish Superliga): Christian Cappis has had his passport revoked and risks being thrown out of Denmark, even though he has two years left on his contract with Hobro IK.
Cappis’ work permit has not been renewed on time, so the North Jutland Police have now confiscated his passport.
No one from the club has called him. No one has asked if he is okay. He has not even been given a training program to follow while out. Christian has had to find and pay for a personal trainer.
Christian has made it clear he wishes to move on from Hobro IK. There is interest from clubs in and outside of Denmark, but Hobro IK have just rejected it all because they do not want to negotiate.
