FC Dallas vs Sporting Kansas City: Game Thread

Here is your thread for today’s match.

MLS: Colorado Rapids at Sporting Kansas City Peter G. Aiken

SKC ties it up before halftime

Another Wednesday night game is here folks. FC Dallas is back on the road tonight as they get set to take on rivals and current Western Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City.

SKC are coming off a 1-1 draw at Colorado, while FC Dallas is coming off their biggest win of 2020 last weekend as they downed Minnesota United 3-1.

FC Dallas notes:

On the road in KC - FC Dallas typically struggles in KC. Last year they picked up a win but it was the first time in a long time that they were able to win on the road in KC at Children’s Mercy Park.

Last year against the SKC - Let’s just say last year was nothing short of dominant for FC Dallas against SKC. In both meetings the defense was stellar as they won in KC 2-0 before a Decision Day blowout win at home that saw the Hoops win 6-0.
