FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo resume their Texas Derby rivalry this evening as the two meet at Toyota Stadium.
The Hoops has won just one out of their last seven games and are coming off a 3-2 loss to Minnesota United at Allianz Field Wednesday night, while the Dynamo extended their unbeaten streak to six in a 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids Wednesday.
FC Dallas notes:
Last time against the Dynamo - Thanks to the quick nature of this rebooted MLS season, the last time out wasn’t that long ago for these two sides. Just a couple of weeks ago they met in Houston for a scoreless draw.
Key player for FC Dallas - Franco Jara - The veteran forward has to find ways to do a little bit more against the Houston defense tonight if Dallas wants to win this game and come closer to retaining El Captian for another season. Jara has looked good in moments but his one goal last week in KC has really been the only bright spot so far since joining the team. A goal or two against Houston would erase that in a hurry.
