MLS is Back sees the semifinal games start tonight in Orlando.

The week rolls on here as we hopefully are getting closer to FC Dallas being back on the field (more on that in a second). But for now, we’re left with just a couple of games at the MLS is Back tournament in Orlando to view this week.

Report: Yoann Court rejects FC Dallas offer - Big D Soccer
Word out of France is that FC Dallas made an offer for Ligue 1 player and it was rejected. Oh well. Honestly, this just shows how FCD is looking to fill some gaps, and plan for 2021 in a small way (that left wing will likely be a top priority).

MLS aiming to resume regular season in home markets - The Washington Post
Still no official word here yet from the league but Goff is saying FCD and Nashville would have two games in Frisco, starting on August 12 (the day after the MLS is Back tournament ends). Again, it feels rushed in a big way to me but if the stadium is empty and it is just the players playing on the field, then I may be able to get more behind it.

More youth clubs are coming in board to MLS's new player development system. Which is a good thing but if you look at the map, there are still areas that have giant holes in them (looking north to Oklahoma for one).

Blanco seems to be one of those underrated foreign signings that the Timbers have gotten over the years that just ends up being ridiculously good over time.
