After sitting out Wednesday’s game against Colorado as players continue to support the Black Lives Matter movement and protests against the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, FC Dallas is back on the field tonight to host Minnesota United.
FC Dallas will look to break out of their scoring slump against a Minnesota United squad that is winless in their last three when the Western Conference foes.
FC Dallas notes:
At home against Minnesota - FC Dallas are a perfect 3W-0L-0T against Minnesota in Frisco.
Last year against the Loons - The teams split their two meetings a year ago, with the Rapids claiming a victory at home and FCD picking up a wild 5-3 win in Frisco.
Key player for FC Dallas - Paxton Pomykal - If Franco Jara is the one that needs service, it is Paxton that needs to be on the field to give it to him. And we’re talking being on the field from the opening whistle.
Eyes on Reggie - As it was discussed on Friday, Cannon isn’t expected to be in the lineup as he is potentially on his way to Portugal.
