No game tonight
Tonight's FC Dallas match vs. Colorado has officially been postponed. #DTID.
— Garrett Melcer (@GarrettMelcer) August 27, 2020
FC Dallas is back on the field tonight as they host the Colorado Rapids for the first time in 2020.
Both teams are looking to get back on track here in 2020. FC Dallas are winless and goalless in their three matches in the season’s restart, including a 0-0 Texas Derby draw against the Houston Dynamo Friday at BBVA Stadium, while the Rapids have lost three of their last four, including a 4-1 Rocky Mountain Cup home defeat to Real Salt Lake.
FC Dallas notes:
At home against Colorado - Dallas have dominated the all-time history at home, winning 24 of the 38 all-time contests with six draws.
Last year against the Rapids - The teams split their two meetings a year ago, with the Rapids claiming a 3-0 home victory and FC Dallas returning the favor with a 2-1 win in Frisco.
Key player for FC Dallas - Paxton Pomykal - If Franco Jara is the one that needs service, it is Paxton that needs to be on the field to give it to him. And we’re talking being on the field from the opening whistle.
