At the time of this writing, FC Dallas has not officially announced this but Deportivo Independiente Medellin has already pushed this on their social media accounts that Dallas has signed playmaker Andrés Ricaurte.

Our own transfer rumor specialist, Jose Carmona has been tracking this and sniffed this out a couple of days ago.
Terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed, but the rumors are that the transfer fee is in the $1.7 million range with FC Dallas paying 50% of it up front.
Im told the total fee for attacking midfielder Andrés Ricaurte is approximately 1.7 million for 100% of his player rights and his salary could be between 450K-500k for 3 years contract.#DTID pays 50% of that immediately.

Very creative player, with good vision and leadership pic.twitter.com/aJrPMGNDfc
Ricaurte is a tall midfielder at 6 feet, which is a departure from the team utilizing smaller creative mids like David Ferreira, Mauro Diaz and Pablo Aranguiz. Dallas is already very stacked in the midfield, which probably means a player is on their way out either on loan or transfer.
We’ll wait for FC Dallas to make an official announcement but in the meantime, how do you feel about this signing? Excited? Wondering where he’ll fit into this lineup?
