North Texas SC vs Union Omaha: Game Thread

New, 22 comments

Here is your thread for today’s match.

It is week two of the USL-One season as North Texas SC hits the road for their first trip of the year as they take on the newcomers, Union Omaha.

NTSC opened their title defense with a strong 2-1 win over rivals Forward Madison last weekend. Omaha on the other hand opened their inaugural season with a 0-0 draw against fellow USL-1 newcomers New England Revolution II.

North Texas notes:

Evans recalled. 2020 has been a rough year for a lot of folks. Evans was likely going to do very well for himself in an upper division with Austin Bold but given how the health and safety of folks should be a priority right now, you can’t blame FCD/NTSC for wanting to get one of their young stars back home.

Key player for NTSC - Ronaldo Damus - The big scorer picked up right where he left off after a strong 2019 season with a goal in the season opener last weekend. Damus’ speed and skill on the ball should give the expansion side fits.
