We’ve made it past Easter, so now what?

MLS: Philadelphia Union at FC Dallas Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

I will admit, I’ve been looking forward to this day for probably two months now. Even before the pandemic hit and caused so much change in our world, I was circling April 13 on my calendar. Primarily because it meant a day off from my day job but it also meant I could finally get a free moment or two to just relax and enjoy a beer (I stupidly gave that up for Lent this year).

Well, just like the pandemic changing the world, I don’t truly have an off day today from work. Still, we move on here. I hope to have some fun topics to discuss this week for us all. Until then, here are some links.

Does Cincy play it safe for a change with someone like Kinnear or do they continue their Dutch outreach by going with Stam? Tough to say at this point.

2014 New England Revolution Eastern Conference Champion side reunited on Zoom call | MLSsoccer.com
I have to admit, even though I'm no New England fan here this was pretty cool to see happen. It is time to get that 2016 FCD team on Zoom.

The club announced three new hires in the club's scouting department under scouting director Thomas Schaling.

Old vs new thinking in MLS | US Soccer Players
Major League Soccer making it this far was never a sure thing, and the league can use a blend of old and new thinking as it moves forward.
