Welcome to another week of FCD Loanees & Affiliates, as we follow FC Dallas players on loan to teams other than North Texas SC. We'll also keep tabs on some of the happenings involving FCD's International Affiliates.

Loanees

Pablo Aranguiz (FCD - Universidad de Chile/Chile): Aranguiz started Saturday at O’Higgins. La U ended the first half down 2-1. But wouldn’t you know it, the second half was all Aranguiz. It start with this assist on the equalizer:

After that pretty play, Aranguiz took matters into his own hands:

His second walk in goal of the season(!) would end up being the game winner, as La U notched a 3-2 come from behind victory. With the win, La U moves up to second place on the Primera Division Clausura Table, just three points behind the leaders.

Pablo now has four goals and two assists in four league matches, with 14 fouls drawn, and 74% pass completion rate (100 passes completed). The talk of best player in the league has heated up, as has the fans calling for him to receive a call up for the Chile Men’s National Team.

Brecc Evans (North Texas SC) & Ema Twumasi (FCD) - Austin Bold/USL Championship: Twumasi started Saturday in a preseason match against Texas United FC, which the Bold would go on to win 4-0.

Francis Atuahene (FCD - San Diego Loyal/USL Championship): Atuahene started on Saturday in preseason action against fellow USL Championship side Reno 1868 FC. It was a close and high scoring affair that saw the Loyal ahead 3-2 heading into the final minutes, when Atauahene would seal the victory by scoring his teams fourth goal of the night, to earn a 4-2 victory.

The match was streamed live, and is available for replay on YouTube. Be advised that you have to skip forward 2 hours on the video, to see the beginning of the match:

Callum Montgomery (FCD - San Antonio FC/USL Championship) - Montgomery and the team did not have a preseason match this past weekend, but here’s a nice video season preview for the team:

Arturo Rodriguez (FCD - Real Monarchs/USL Championship) - Rodriguez got the start on Saturday, in the final preseason match against Sacrament Republic. He would play 81 minutes in a 3-2 defeat.

Pro Affiliates

FC Dallas MX rebounded from their first loss of the Clausura with aplomb, crushing visiting Bacaneros De Matamoros by a 6-0 score. The teams were actually tied 0-0 at the half, but FCD-MX poured it on in the second half, and got the big margin victory.

The win sees FC Dallas MX remain a top the Group 12 Clausura Table, just two points ahead of the second place team. The win also sees FC Dallas MX climb back up to the #7 ranking in the Liga TDP overall table, and they are currently at the #5 seed for the Promotion Playoffs.

Next weekend FC Dallas MX will welcome third place Bravos De Nuevo Laredo (10 point behind), in what is a very big match for both teams.
