Big D After Dark Is Back

After a couple weeks break, we are jumping online to take your questions and talk about life without MLS.

MLS: Montreal Impact at FC Dallas Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

When the pandemic hit home here outside of DC, I admit I had a real rough week. There was no soccer to enjoy, and I was scrambling as a boss to keep things moving forward and organize a plan b. No doubt, so many of you dear readers were in the same situation.

The dust has somewhat settled, and this new normal is in full effect.

So, let’s take a breath, jump online together, and talk about FC Dallas, Big D Soccer, and how we are surviving in this strange, strange time.

Big D After Dark is back on Sunday night at 8:30 PM CST over on our Youtube channel.

For the Episode

We’ll talk about how we are doing to maintain our sanity, get our soccer itch taken care, and share some feisty hot takes for the season. One of the questions that Jose asked in our Slack channel that I loved was - who does this break benefit the most? Maybe that’s a strange question to ask when people are getting sick and dying, but I do think we will see a strange and unusual season for MLS and for many teams (if we do at all).

Another popular question - could MLS just ditch the summer plans and restart in a more traditional fall to spring season?

And one more - which FC Dallas player do you want on your side to survive a pandemic?

By the way, stay safe. Wash your hands. Follow the advice of your doctors and leaders. It’s not worth it to get yourself or others sick. We’ll get through this together.
