Good morning folks. I hope you all are reading this from a safe and comfortable space out there. I know this is an odd time that we’re living in with things closing down left and right at the moment. Hopefully our morning links (though they’re going to start looking different for a while) will help get your through at least a little bit of your day.
Most of you probably noticed something super odd yesterday with FC Dallas’ official Twitter account. It was offline, gone, off, whatever other adjective you want to put in there. Some thought they were practicing social distancing on a larger scale. Others assumed hacking. All good answers but none were the actual case.
They were able to sort it all out by the afternoon though as they’re back (though with a lot less followers than before) and they have a message from one of our new favorites, Fafa Picault:
Also, going out today in Dallas is going to look drastically different.

Effective at midnight, community gatherings in Dallas will be restricted to no more than 50 people per @DallasMayor.

At least drive-thru windows and take out are still options for those that are looking for food to go.

MLS, NWSL, USL reps will meet to discuss COVID-19 plans as a group – The Athletic
The largest U.S.-based soccer leagues will discuss and coordinate responses to the pandemic. While MLS teams will probably find a way to survive all of this, I do worry about a lot of those USL clubs and how long they can go without being on the field from a financial perspective.
Also...Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all out there
