Welcome to another week of FCD Loanees & Affiliates, as we follow FC Dallas players on loan to teams other than North Texas SC. We'll also keep tabs on some of the happenings involving FCD's International Affiliates.

Loanees

Pablo Aranguiz (FCD - Universidad de Chile/Chile): Aranguiz started on Sunday against visiting Coquimbo Unido. The match was a pretty uneven affair, with both teams struggling on offense, but Pablo would eventually put his team up:

La U would squander their lead, and would be forced to settle for a 1-1 draw. The draw sees La U drop to 4th place in the Primera Liga Clausura Table.

Brecc Evans (North Texas SC - Austin Bold/USL Championship: Evans was on the bench Saturday, as the Austin Bold played a preseason match against University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. He would come on in the second half of a 4-0 Austin Bold win.

Francis Atuahene (FCD - San Diego Loyal/USL Championship): Atuahene was on the bench for this weekend’s friendly match against Panamanian top flight club Costa Del Este FC. Francis would come on in the 78th minute of a 1-0 San Diego win.

Callum Montgomery (FCD - San Antonio FC/USL Championship) - Montgomery was back with San Antonio FC, and got the start in a preseason match against Orlando City SC. With his team down early, he would score the equalizer off a set piece in the 42nd minute. San Antonio would go on to concede a second half goal, and suffer a 2-1 defeat.

Arturo Rodriguez (FCD - Real Monarchs/USL Championship) - Rodriguez started for Real Monarchs this weekend and played the first half of a 3-1 loss against Louisville City FC.

FC Dallas MX saw its winning streak snapped over the weekend as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at Gavilanes FC. Despite the loss, FCD-MX remains a top the Group 12 Table, but sees its lead trimmed to two points.

In other news FC Dallas MX also hosted tryouts for their Liga TDP squad:

They usually have tryouts long before the start of the winter break, but for some reason, they are just now looking at trialists. Based in the suburbs of Monterrey, there is a ton of talent to be found in that part of Mexico (there are many academies and clubs in that area), so the club should be able to find help.
