Welcome to another week of FCD Loanees & Affiliates, as we follow FC Dallas players on loan to teams other than North Texas SC. We'll also keep tabs on some of the happenings involving FCD's International Affiliates.
Loanees
Pablo Aranguiz (FCD - Universidad de Chile/Chile): Pablo made his second start for La U on Saturday, against visiting 1st place team Union La Calera.
With La U up 1-0 to start the second half, things quickly turned against the team as a player received a red card for the second week in a row.
With his team down to 10 men and under siege by the visitors, Pablo was on the receiving end of a game changing play:

You can clearly hear the expelled player yelling "I didn't touch him!" as he's leaving the field.
After that, it was the Aranguiz show. Here’s a replay of all three goals scored in the match, with multiple angles on both goals that Pablo was involved in.

It will be a short turnaround for Pablo and La U, as they will travel to Brazil on Tuesday (4:15 pm Central), for the 2nd Leg of the Copa Libertadores match against Internacional. The teams are currently tied 0-0 on aggregate, and Pablo is expected to start in the #10 spot for La U.

Pro Affiliates
FC Dallas MX was on the road against Tigres SD, who was 3rd place in Group 12 coming in. It would be all FCD MX, as they would go on to secure a 3-2 win. The game was not as close as the final score would indicate, Tigres SD scored a goal right before the final whistle to make it look competitive. The win sees FC Dallas MX retain its stranglehold a top the Group 12 table. With FCD-MX knocking off the 3rd place team, and the 4th place team suffering a defeat, Group 12 is now a two horse race between FCD-MX and 2nd place Orgullo Surtam (4 points behind).
Here is where FC Dallas MX currently stands in the overall Liga TDP table for teams with a chance to gain promotion (160 teams):
