Just like in the previous couple of games before this one, the second-year manager will be without veteran defender Matt Hedges, winger Santiago Mosquera and homegrown midfielder Paxton Pomykal (who is out for the remainder of the season).
Gonzalez stated that Hedges is back in training but is more likely to be available on Saturday night in Utah as the club takes on Real Salt Lake.
Mosquera on the other hand has been training lately but just not with the full team. Gonzalez expects likely another week before he could be cleared to play.
Gonzalez did offer up one more addition to the injury report, as Homegrown midfielder Edwin Cerrillo picked up a knock in training on Sunday. He is said to be out for a couple of days here and should be cleared for Saturday’s game in Utah.
Lastly, and while this isn’t an injury, Michael Barrios also will be out on Tuesday in Tennessee as he picked up a yellow card in the last game against Sporting Kansas City. That yellow means he will sit out this game tomorrow night due to a yellow card accumulation.
