FC Dallas vs Sporting Kansas City: Game Thread

Here is your thread for today’s match.

MLS: Nashville SC at FC Dallas Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

FC Dallas looks to end a four-game winless run as they host Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday night at Toyota Stadium.

Sporting are coming in on good form as they are fresh off a 2-1 win over Nashville SC last weekend.

FC Dallas notes:

So far in 2020 against SKC - This is the third meeting this season with FC Dallas claiming a 3-2 victory at Children’s Mercy Park on Sept. 19 with Franco Jara and Johnny Russell exchanging two goals apiece and the teams playing to a 1-1 draw in Kansas City Sept. 2.

Key player for FC Dallas - Reto Ziegler - While the offense needs to find a way to come alive again here, it may very well come down to how Ziegler leads this group from the back that determines the outcome in this one. Without Matt Hedges there, he and Bressan need to have a big evening by limiting shots and chances on goal.
