Three names still on the injury list for this week’s game.

FC Dallas is getting set to take on rivals Sporting Kansas City tomorrow night in Frisco. As we get closer to the game, the team was able to give an update on injuries and where things stand there.

Three players will be out for tomorrow’s game according to the club.

Matt Hedges will remain out after sustaining a muscular injury against Houston last week. Luchi Gonzalez told reporters on Monday in his weekly press conference that the veteran defender likely won’t return to training until late next week.

The club will have some reinforcements in the center back position available soon though as second year defender Callum Montgomery is currently going through a quarantine period (which will end at the end of the week) after his season with San Antonio FC ended recently. FC Dallas actually recalled him early before San Antonio’s exit from the USL-C playoffs due to Hedges’ injury.

Santiago Mosquera is also out for tomorrow’s game, though Gonzalez did state that he was closer to returning to training this week. Mosquera has been out since the Orlando game two weeks ago where he exited the first half with an injury.

Lastly, which should be no shocker to you all by now, but Paxton Pomykal is still out for the season as he recovers from surgery.
