Welcome back to our coverage of players with connections to FC Dallas, the FCD Academy, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Europe

Weston McKennie (AP - Schalke 04/Bundesliga): Weston returned from his shoulder injury faster than anticipated. Weston was in the 18 and played 15 minutes in a 4-0 loss to Bayern Munich.

Carlos Gruezo (FCD - FC Augsburg/Bundesliga): Speaking of returning from injury, Gruezo was back in the 18 for FC Augsburg, but he did not play in a 2-0 loss to Union Berlin.

Chris Richards (AP/FCD - Bayern Munich II/3. Liga): Richards was back starting at center back for Bayern Munich II, and the team got a much needed 2-0 win at Uerdingen. Bayern Munich II entered the week just three point out of Relegation, so the team needs to get well clear of the relegation zone.
