FC Dallas vs Seattle Sounders: Game Thread

Here is your thread for today’s match.

MLS: Seattle Sounders FC at FC Dallas Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

FC Dallas looks to bounce back from a rough road loss last weekend as they take on the Seattle Sounders tonight.

Both teams are coming into this game on different paths as Seattle has won three of their last four games, including a big 4-2 win last weekend over New York. Seattle is currently in second place in the Western Conference while FCD is looking to get back above the playoff line with a win.

FC Dallas notes:

Last time against the Sounders. This is the second meeting this season between the clubs with FC Dallas winning, 2-1, back in June. It was a weird and wild game that saw Seattle score all three goals, with both going to FCD in the form of an own-goal.

Key player for FC Dallas - Bryan Acosta - We saw last weekend just how important he is in the midfield when we was out on suspension. Bringing him back into the mix tonight will be key in keeping the pressure off the defense but also allowing the flow of the attack to move better.
