FC Dallas vs Orlando City: Game Thread

Here is your thread for today’s match.

MLS: FC Dallas at Orlando City SC Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

Orlando bags an insurance goal

Goal Tesho

The party is over in Orlando for the league’s All-Star festivities for the year. Now thing shift into playoff push mode for everyone. FC Dallas looks to continue their solid form as they take on Orlando City for the lone meeting of 2019.

Orlando City is coming off a disappointing result a week ago in New England, where they were thumped 4-1.

FC Dallas notes:

Last time against Orlando. The two sides met once a season ago in Frisco after they dealt with a long weather delay. FC Dallas came out on top of that contest with a 2-0 win.

Key player for FC Dallas - Paxton Pomykal - We saw briefly last week how valuable his ability to spread the ball into the attack truly is (damn you Santiago Mosquera for missing that chance!). He’ll need to be the leader and the guide this weekend in the attack if FCD wants to leave Florida with anything positive to show for.
