Reports: Pablo Aranguiz’s exit from FC Dallas looking more likely

The Aranguiz-watch continues to pick up here this week.

The on-going news of whether or not FC Dallas midfielder Pablo Aranguiz will stay with the club this season continues to pick up steam. Last week we discussed his potential exit and this week we’re seeing more reports that he could be heading back to Chile.

On Tuesday, a report came out that Aranguiz could be loaned back to his previous club Unión Española for six months (with a likely option for a buy-out following that).

To add a little more fuel to that fire, Jon Arnold has reported that he midfielder was not at training with FC Dallas on Thursday morning.

While this isn’t a definite thing we should also point out that Aranguiz did not travel with FC Dallas last weekend to Kansas City, nor did he play with North Texas SC in their home match.

With Aranguiz potenitally leaving, that would open up two things for FC Dallas in the form of a Designated Player slot and an international roster spot. Both could be vital should the club have a target in mind this summer while the transfer window is still open.

Once we have more news on this story we will continue to update it all for you here.
