FC Dallas vs Houston Dynamo: Game thread

Here is your thread for today’s match.

MLS: Houston Dynamo at FC Dallas Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Texas pride will be on the line today as FC Dallas is in the Bayou City to take on their top rivals Houston Dynamo.

Both teams are coming into this game a bit under the radar in the Western Conference this season. The Dynamo (5-1-1) rebounded from their first loss of the season to defeat Columbus Crew SC, 2-0, on goals by Mauro Manotas and Tomas Martinez last week. While FC Dallas (5-2-2) extended an unbeaten streak to three games with a 0-0 draw against the San Jose Earthquakes.

FC Dallas notes:

Last time against Houston. The 2018 Texas Derby saw El Capitan return home to Frisco thanks to a big 4-2 win on the final meeting of the regular season after the two sides had a pair of 1-1 draws earlier in the year.
