Here is your thread for today’s match.

Lineups

FC Dallas looks to end a two-game losing streak on Thursday night as they take on the league’s top club in LAFC. This will be the first of two games against LAFC in a span of four days as the clubs will have a return match in Frisco on Sunday evening.

LAFC extended their lead atop the Supporters’ Shied standings with a 3-0 victory over Columbus Crew SC at MAPFRE Stadium last weekend. While FC Dallas stumbled at home, losing 3-1 to the New York Red Bulls.

FC Dallas notes:

Last time against LAFC. The two sides met twice a year ago with the first meeting ending in a 1-1 draw out in California. The return match saw FC Dallas win 2-1.

Key player for FC Dallas - Jesse Gonzalez - You know your team is going defensive when you list your keeper as the man to watch out for. I see this game in a similar fashion to the win in Atlanta a few weeks back where Gonzalez came up huge several times in the win over the defending MLS Cup champions. FCD will need a monster game out of him to contain the league’s leading scorer in Carlos Vela.
