FC Dallas downed the Portland Timbers at home 2-1 last weekend, while Atlanta picked up their first regular season win of the season under new manager Frank de Boer, a 2-0 road win over the New England Revolution.
FC Dallas notes:
Last time against Atlanta. The lone meeting of these two sides last year was a wild one that saw FC Dallas get two late goals on the Fourth of July to win 3-2.
Key player for FC Dallas - Carlos Gruezo - If you can stop the Atlanta midfield from finding open chances and allowing space for Josef Martinez to do his thing, then you’ve done well. Gruezo will need to have a monster game keeping the back line free from being pressured as much as they can be.
